Blackburn College currently offers a cadet programme that is delivered in partnership with East Lancs NHS Trust. Cadets complete four hospital based placements during their time at College. These are available in A&E, Maternity, Paediatrics, Surgery, Medicine, Orthopaedics and various clinics in the area. Alongside a Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care this course will give you UCAS points and a unique practical experience with the opportunity to gain workplace references. Blackburn College are holding an information evening on Monday 15th October AT 6:30 PM . Staff from the hospital and current Cadets will be delivering short presentations and answering questions. Places for this unique opportunity are limited and subject to a formal interview.
